Exeter retains position in top 200 in QS World University Rankings

The University of Exeter has retained its position inside the top 200 universities worldwide, according to the latest influential international league table.

Exeter has been ranked 164th in the QS World University Rankings 2021, the largest and most extensive international league table, published today (June 10th).

The University is also ranked 24th in the United Kingdom, and 67th in Europe.

In this latest ranking, Exeter’s rank improved in three of the six indicators – academic reputation, employer reputation and the student-to-staff ratio. For the second year running, the highest ranked indicator was employer reputation, placed 129th.

This is the 17th year that QS has published its World University Rankings. They are based on six indicators and were compiled by considering more than 1,600 universities.
